Paul de Groot lives for the mountains. As a Dutch big-mountain skier and freeride athlete, he is constantly pushing beyond the obvious line in search of steep terrain, deep powder and the next big adventure.

From technical faces in the Alps to remote mountain ranges around the world, Paul brings a combination of strong technical skiing, commitment and an unmistakable passion for exploration. He is not just looking for the perfect line, he is driven by the entire journey that comes with it: scouting new terrain, earning the descent and sharing the experience along the way.

Paul is also the driving force behind Hidden Faces, a freeride project that captures the raw side of big-mountain skiing. Together with fellow skier Loïc Isliker, he explores remote and challenging terrain, turning ambitious missions into stories that inspire others to look beyond the beaten track.

With his progressive skiing, adventurous mindset and genuine connection to the mountains, Paul represents a new generation of freeride athletes driven by progression, exploration and the pursuit of unforgettable lines.
