Winter beyond the lift pass.

Ski mountaineering and cross-country reach an audience that is younger, fitter and cheaper to talk to than the alpine market.

Winter beyond the lift pass

Alpine tourism marketing is crowded and expensive. The human-powered end of winter sport is neither, and it photographs better.

A different visitor.

Skimo and cross-country audiences travel outside peak weeks, use less infrastructure and stay longer. For a region managing capacity, that is a more useful visitor than one more peak-week skier.

The content advantage.

Human-powered winter gives you effort, weather and silence, three things a lift queue cannot. It also lets a destination talk about its landscape without talking about snow guarantees.
